Saturday I had a little scare with my 5-month old puppy Oliver. He was suddenly acting weird, he looked shaky and it appeared like he had had a seizure. For almost 4 hours I was panicked. And that’s when I realized how much I love Oliver. Boy did
that catch me by surprise.
It’s been two months since I adopted him. He’s been an amazing puppy. He was completely potty trained within a month,
using a doggy door to go potty out on the patio and he’s yet to destroy anything in my apartment and has run of the house at all times. He and Riley have become BFF’s which was entirely my reason for getting a second dog. They love to play and she never seems sad when I leave them now cause she has a pal.
No matter how good he is, he’s a 5 month old puppy and he’s exhausting!! When I’d first gotten him various family members kept trying to get me to give him away. And as he seemed spunkier & I was more exhausted it of course started me thinking
about what life was like pre-Oliver.
And then Saturday happened and I realized how much I love him. Quirks and all! He’s 6lbs of fluff, spunk & love and he’s clearly
infiltrated my heart. This little guy isn’t going anywhere, he’s mine and I’m so glad he’s part of my family!

Chilling in his bed like a good boy!
P.S. Oliver is fine, it appears that it was just heat exhaustion and he’s doing GREAT. His spunk returned after 6 hours and I was more than relieved!
